Brian Bachand – Partner
Prior to joining Phelpsgroup, Brian was a partner with an international search firm where he led C-Suite, Board and executive searches for some of Canada’s leading Healthcare & Life Sciences and Not-for-Profit recruitments, including successful global relocations. Shortly after arriving in Toronto, Brian worked at the University of Toronto, where he led the Faculty of Medicine’s Advancement program – the largest such program in Canada. Prior to moving to Canada, Brian was the Executive Director at the New York University Langone Medical Center in Manhattan and Director of Corporate Development at the American Cancer Society.
Brian received his BA from the University of Steubenville and holds a Master of Divinity from St. John’s in Boston; he received the John King Mussio Award for alumni in leadership. Brian is active in the Toronto community, currently serving as Board Director for ACCES Employment, assisting job seekers of diverse backgrounds. He is also a newly appointed Board Director at the Gardiner Museum, Toronto and is one of the founding members of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce in New York City.
