City of Toronto appoints Brad Ross as Chief Communications Officer

Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. announce their new Chief Executive Officer

Phelpsgroup and Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) President Aluki Kotierk are pleased to announce that Ms. Kilikvak Karen Kabloona will be joining NTI as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) starting on December 03, 2018. Kilikvak is the former Associate Deputy Minister, Quality of Life with the Government of Nunavut (GN), a position created to respond to the suicide crisis in Nunavut. In this role, she developed a funded, five-year action plan. She was with the GN since 2004, including as a political advisor to two Cabinet Ministers and two Premiers. Champion of High Quality, Undergraduate Education Appointed as Sheridan’s Eighth President and Vice Chancellor

Sheridan’s Board of Governors enthusiastically accepted the unanimous recommendation by Sheridan’s Presidential Search Committee to appoint Dr. Janet Morrison as Sheridan’s Eighth President and Vice Chancellor. Phelpsgroup was pleased to partner with Sheridan College in this recruitment. Dr. Morrison will begin her five-year term on August 7, 2018, replacing outgoing President Dr. Mary Preece who is set to retire. Dr. Morrison joined Sheridan in November, 2016 as Provost and Vice President Academic. Halton District School Board appoints Executive Director

Phelps Group and the Halton District School Board trustees are delighted to announce the appointment of Stuart Miller as the new Director of Education for the Board. Miller assumes the role October 1, replacing David Euale who announced his retirement in February 2015. In April, Halton District School Board Trustees enlisted the assistance of executive search firm, Phelps Group to initiate an extensive search for a new Director. The comprehensive search process resulted in the Board of Trustees interviewing a number of candidates before naming Miller as the Board's new Director of Education.
